MD9901 ZX BIOS

This is the latest BIOS for the MD9901 (v1.8B4), including a patch for harddisks >128GB.

• Create a boot/systemdisk
• Download the original BIOS 1.84 at Medion (Download)
• Extract the archive's content to the disk.
• Replace the file w6190zm7.184 by the patched version. (download here)
• Boot from the disk. The BIOS update procedure will start automatically and (hopefully) flash the new version.
• After flashing you will see the 'A:\>' on the screen. Switch the computer off/on and enjoy your new BIOS.

You can also download the complete disk as an image. This is especially useful for Linux users that can create the disk with 'unzip -p bios_128gb.zip | dd of=/dev/fd0'.
